Who we are

It started, as these things do, with a creeping sense of dread. We were standing in another dispensary, surrounded by the curated charm of a college dorm room and the palpable energy of a half-dead fly on a windowsill. They were slinging a magical, glorious plant with the same reverence you'd give a pack of gum.

We fled into the Portland twilight, a question burning in our minds: Where’s the joy? Where’s the chaos? Where, for God's sake, is the fun?

And then it hit us. A full-blown, Technicolor fever dream: a dancing elephant.

Not as a logo. As a North Star. A giant, bizarre, beautiful reminder that joy isn’t just an option, it's the whole damn point.

That fever dream became our manifesto. We built Good Times as our vibrant, sun-drenched sanctuary in Sellwood. We swore a blood oath to never stock a single thing we didn't personally, obsessively, head-over-heels love. We hunt down the true believers—the Oregon growers who talk about terpenes with the frantic, wide-eyed passion of a mad scientist who just discovered the secret of life.

Of course, this level of manic energy requires a steady hand. A calming presence. A furry anchor in a sea of beautiful chaos. That's Goose. He is the Chief Vibe Officer, the silent partner, the final word. Nothing makes it to our shelves without his... well, we’re not entirely sure what his process is. But we know he’s never been wrong. His judgment is swift, silent, and occasionally involves a nap.

So here we are. A dispensary conceived in a fit of pique, inspired by a fever dream of a dancing elephant, and run by a dog.

It’s the best damn circus in town. And you're officially invited.
